Temporary emergency cash assistance, food vouchers, payments for emergency shelter and medical needs. Medically Needy Program - Primary & outpatient health and home care expenses paid (excluding prescriptions & hospital care) for people 65+, blind, or disabled who do not meet income guidelines for New Jersey Care and other Medicaid programs. High unpaid medical bills and health insurance premiums assist in meeting low income limits. Six month renewal required. Resource limits. Comprehensive health and home care expenses paid including hospital care. For people 65+, blind, or disabled - Resource Limits. Provides health care coverage for uninsured children 18 years or under; parents with income below 133% of the Federal poverty level for grandparents raising children their income is not considered unless applying for themselves.
