Description:
Programs include: spinal cord injury, mild and traumatic brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, amputee services, orthopedic rehabilitation, pain management, sports medicine, prosthetics and orthopedics. Outpatient centers provide treatment for minor injuries. Other services provided through the Stroke Rehabilitation Program include: Speech/communication disorders, medical management, nursing, physical and occupational therapies, psychology/neuropsychology services, driving evaluation and training, social service, career guidance and placement, support and education. (Note: Skilled nursing services and sub-acute rehabilitation are also available at Kessler Care Centers in Essex and Passaic Counties.)
