New Jersey Parking Privilege for the Disabled Special Plate. Division Allows special parking privileges for eligible persons as passengers or drivers. Application may be made for a placard or wheelchair symbol license plate.
"Non-Drivers" I.D. Needed: Identification adding up to 6 “points”. Birth certificate, passport, Social Security card.
Persons eligible for the PAAD Program or Lifeline Program qualify for reduced charges for car registration for their vehicles. Based on the age and type of vehicle,
a credit is allowed against the total fee. A copy of your PAAD card or a letter from lifeline showing your eligibility must be returned with your registration notice and check. Contact the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission at the above number for more information.
