Description:
The Portable Assisted Living Services (PALS) program provides assisted living services to older adults in subsidized senior housing (currently Westwood House in Westwood, NJ), enabling them to age-in-place rather than seeking more expensive alternatives that provide more care than they need. If eligible for the MLTSS (Managed Long Term Services and Supports) Program, there are no out of pocket costs for the PALS Program. If not eligible for MLTSS, residents pay a daily rate for services provided. Care provided is based on the individual needs of each participant in a manner that promotes their individuality, dignity, privacy, choice, and independence.
