Description:
The Department is responsible for all senior issues and is a focal point for East Brunswick residents for information for their older loved ones. It also runs a multi-purpose senior center providing a wide variety of physical fitness and wellness programs, volunteer opportunities, transportation, health services, social activities and special events plus much more to a very diverse East Brunswick senior population (60 and over). Counselors provide supportive services, outreach, direct the home delivered meals program, provide information and referrals, home visits and specialized groups (bereavement, caregiving, Let's Talk and Memory Matters) and crisis intervention as necessary.
