Description:
The MCBSS is the Middlesex County provider of a larger statewide program responsible for investigating abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults who are elderly or disabled and reside in the community. Adult Protective Services provides services for persons 18 or older residing in the community, vulnerable due to mental or physical incapacity and subject to abuse, neglect and exploitation
The Home Care Program utilizes Home health aide agencies who are contracted with to provide services such as bathing, dressing, shopping, preparing meals, laundry and completing household chores. The program enables recipients to remain in the community rather than enter long term care.
