Animals - Wildlife. Residents 70 and Over: Resident senior citizens upon reaching the age of 70 no longer need to obtain a fishing license. Proof of Age will be required if questioned by a conservation officer. Residents 65 to 69: NJ Residents between the ages 65 - 69 years can obtain a license for 1/2 price ($12.50). A trout stamp can be obtained for an additional $10.50. Licenses for the Blind: Residents with total blindness may obtain a free fishing license from the Division of Fish & Wildlife. For hunting, a senior fire arm license is $15.50 and a bow and arrow license is $16.50, for those age 65 and over. Clamming and Oyster License State application available at the Office of Senior Services for those 62 years of age and older. Free with proof of residency and age ($2.00 processing fee)
